Upon a sea too far to reach, 2016

210 cm x 130 cm x 70 cm

In an effort to demonstrate embedded layers of temperaments and an unexplainable feeling of detachment, I created the piece Upon a sea too far to reach. A container or a vessel of an illusionary celestial space, structured as protected and exposed, holding and supporting at once, a functional paradox giving a natural experience. The horizontal formation with space above, and underneath touched by a darkness woven into the veils of dreams and of a closure. Time as a merciless participant - to meet, to be separated, in an intersection of near and far.
